Description
Bioengineering is an interdisciplinary field that applies engineering principles and quantitative methods to the advancement of knowledge at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels, and to the development of new biologicals, materials, devices, and processes.
Oregon State University and the University of Oregon have partnered to offer joint Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Bioengineering, giving students the opportunity to work with faculty advisors at either campus. Oregon State University also offers a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Bioengineering.

The M.S. and Ph.D degree programs utilize a separate application system. Please visit the Joint Bioengineering Graduate Program application portal to apply for the M.S. or Ph.D.
For applying to the Corvallis based MEng degree or the Accelerated Master's Platform (AMP) use the standard application system.
International students interested in the Master of Engineering (MEng) program on the Corvallis campus should apply through Master’s International Direct.
