New International Graduate Student Orientation
This is a mandatory session for all new international graduate students. During this session, the Office of International Services (OIS) will explain the important F1/J1 immigration regulations, review the immigration documents together and discuss the services provided by the Office of International Services.
2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
Sponsored Student Orientation
A mandatory session only for sponsored students. Learn about your sponsorship requirements and the services from the OIS-sponsored student programs team.
Who is a Sponsored Student?
A student with a scholarship from an outside organization, usually a home government, embassy, or company. A Third-Party Billing agreement is established between OSU and the sponsoring agency. Sponsors provide their grantees with a financial guarantee letter specifying what educational costs they will cover. OSU invoices sponsors directly for these costs.
*Denotes part of the live webinar session.
