Leadership, Student Success, Recruitment and Financial Support - Assistant Dean
Jessica Beck is assistant dean of the Graduate School. In this role, she serves as the Director for the Graduate Certificate in College and University Teaching (GCCUT) program and also provides leadership for the Graduate Success and Recruitment & Financial Support units. Jessica has been teaching graduate courses at OSU since 2001, with an emphasis on adult learning theory, curriculum design, and social science research methods. Jessica’s research interests have focused on psychosocial development and educational persistence in higher education, particularly with respect to graduate students.
Jessica earned her B.A. from Rutgers University and her master’s and Ph.D. in Education from Oregon State University.
