Inspiration Dissemination is an award-winning radio program that occurs Sunday nights at 7PM Pacific Standard Time on KBVR Corvallis, 88.7FM. Each week on the program, we host a different graduate student worker from Oregon State University to talk about their lives and passion for research here at the university.

Need a place for a meeting? The Graduate School can help. The Graduate Student Commons that you can reserve for your next committee meeting, get-together, club meet up, etc. 

National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity

The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of over 71,000 graduate students, post-docs, and faculty members. We are 100% dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers. We offer on-campus workshops, professional development training, and intensive mentoring programs.

Graduate Student Commons

The Graduate Student Commons, located on the sixth floor of the Valley Library is a space for graduate students to utilize for studying, socializing, and meetings. There are three meeting rooms available for reservation: two small group rooms and a 24-seat classroom. There are also long-term research rooms available to reserve for students in the writing phase of their degree.

To be effective in today's workforce, graduates need professional and soft skills in addition to their disciplinary expertise. The Graduate School provides educational and training opportunities to cover these vital skills. GRAD courses and workshops, as part of our student success offerings, will catalyze a change in how graduate students are prepared to become our future leaders, scholars, scientists, engineers, artists and professionals.

Graduate Women's Network

The Graduate Women’s Network (GWN) is dedicated to establishing community among graduate women throughout the university. They do this by creating opportunities for: Collaboration and support across departments and colleges; leadership development; networking; advocacy; conversation; relaxation and wellness; as well as speakers and discussions.

Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL)

The OSU Center for Teaching and Learning helps faculty, graduate teaching assistants, departments, and colleges achieve professional excellence in teaching and learning by encouraging and facilitating the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Associated Students of Oregon State University (ASOSU)

The Associated Students of Oregon State University (ASOSU) provides a forum to address important issues facing our campus community. Their website contains information about ASOSU, the Graduate Student Senate, various committees and task forces, as well as a special subsidy program administered through ASOSU to provide funding for graduate students to attend professional conferences in their field.
