OSU Portland Center

On the second floor of the Meier and Frank Building, the OSU Portland Center is the home of hybrid learning experiences blending the best of online and face-to-face education. Included in the space are some first-come, first-serve meeting rooms for students for studying or meeting with colleagues. ⠀

Commercialization and Corporate Development

We assist faculty, staff, students and the broader community to commercialize research and concepts. Our staff, mentors, and student interns work directly with innovators and entrepreneurs to explore markets, develop products, and obtain customers.

Graduate School Advisory Council

The Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) provides a graduate student perspective on topics related to the graduate student experience. The GSAC serves as a focus group for the Graduate School, student affairs and other administrative units at Oregon State University.

As graduate student leaders, members represent their affiliated colleges, programs, and student organizations. They are frequently called upon to participate in a variety of university initiatives where graduate student voices are needed.

Graduate Student Ambassador Program

This program provides prospective and current graduate students with positive peer relationships that promotes a more involved community on campus. In addition to fostering positive relationships with students on campus, ambassadors travel to conferences and events representing Oregon State University.

Tuesday Teaching Talks by the CTL

Join colleagues and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) every Tuesday for just-in-time-teaching workshops. Discuss research-based teaching approaches identified as effective in the scholarship of teaching; enhance teaching and learning through the use of instructional technology; and share and discuss just-in-time teaching needs, challenges, and successes experienced in the classroom. Attend one or all. Certificates are provided to those who complete the series. These 90-minute workshops are facilitated twice in Milam 215 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration not required.
