Instructional Policies and Procedures
Developing and delivering courses in accordance with federal, state, and university policies is foundational to your work as a GTA. This session will provide an overview of essential policies applicable to instruction in all contexts, such as FERPA, mandatory reporting, sexual harassment, academic misconduct, and disability accommodations.

Equity Literacy in College Teaching
GTAs have a significant role in helping Oregon State University realize its mission to provide an equitable learning environment for all students. Equity literacy is one tool graduate students can utilize to recognize, respond to, and redress inequity in the classroom. Through interactive case study, this session will explore the foundations of equity literacy, invite reflection on the learning experiences of self and others, and provide an opportunity to practice analytic skills and craft plans to create and sustain equitable learning environments.
