"I am still amazed by the practicality and relevance of the GCCUT curriculum; it's designed and balanced so intentionally. It provided me with solid tools and a foundational theoretical knowledge, all the while inspiring a deep appreciation for the nuances and stoking a sense of wonder in the power of education. "

"The GCCUT program taught me how to develop enriching and experiential courses. It prepared me with a well-rounded teaching portfolio and a detailed teaching philosophy that I believe helped me in being selected for an interview. During my interview, I was able to use a short hands-on teaching activity that I designed in the GCCUT program during my teaching demonstration."
Lauren completed the GCCUT program in 2016 and graduated from OSU with a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife in 2018. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Westfield State University.
"From this program, I walked away with a theoretical foundation on learning in higher ed, as well as practical skills and resources that I am currently using to develop new courses and work with my current students. I believe that this program was just as important to my development as a teacher and scholar as completing my Ph.D."
