Eligibility

Current OSU graduate students and those who intend to complete the certificate as a standalone option are eligible to apply. Prospective OSU graduate students who intend to pursue the GCCUT in conjunction with a master's or doctoral degree must wait until after they have begun the first term of their primary degree before applying.

Corvallis Campus GCCUT version

  • Fall 2024: Closed
  • Fall 2025: Application will open on January 21, 2025

Ecampus GCCUT version

  • Winter 2025: December 6, 2024
  • Spring 2025: March 7, 2025

  • Current OSU Graduate Student Application Checklist

      

    This checklist is for those who are current OSU graduate students looking to complete GCCUT in conjunction with a master's or doctoral degree.

    1. Certificate Request Form
      Select Change of Degree/Major/Certificate form. You'll then be prompted to log in with your ONID credentials and complete the form. Under Work on Concurrent Degree/Certificate, select Certificate and College and University Teaching. Your Change of Degree/Major Request Form will not be processed unless you are admitted to the GCCUT program.
    2. GCCUT Supplemental Application
      Complete the GCCUT Supplemental Application with accompanying documents.
      Required documents:
      • CV/résumé
      • Cover letter

  • Prospective OSU Graduate Student Application Checklist

      

    This checklist is for those who are not current graduate students at OSU and who are looking to complete GCCUT as a standalone credential.

    1. Graduate Admissions Application
      Submit an online application for graduate admission to OSU specifying your desire to pursue the GCCUT.
      Required documents:
      • CV/résumé
      • Cover letter
