Tuition Support Programs

The following program descriptions and procedural guidelines have been developed for the distribution of graduate tuition scholarships/support not associated with formal graduate assistantships.

The deadline for tuition support requests outside the Laurels Block Grant Program is Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:59pm.

  • OSU Foundation Fellowship Tuition Support Program

    The intent of the OSU Foundation Fellowship Tuition Support Program is to maximize the value of institutional graduate fellowships by providing accompanying tuition scholarships.

  • Training Grant and External Fellowship Tuition Relief

    The intent of the Training Grant and External Fellowship Tuition Relief program is to maximize the value of traineeships and fellowships by supplementing cost of education allowances that do not cover the full instructional fees of graduate students funded by such programs.

  • Targeted Graduate Tuition Scholarships

    Targeted Graduate Tuition Scholarships provide the Graduate Dean flexibility in responding to institutional needs for graduate student funding support.

  • University Graduate Laurels Block Grant Program

    The purpose of Laurels funding is to provide financial support to academic units so they may diversify and strengthen their graduate programs. This is achieved by providing tuition support to recruit new graduate students to OSU who support the unit’s specific graduate recruitment and enrollment goals.

  • OSU Graduate Tuition Waiver Policy

    This policy delineates allocations and procedures for tuition waivers for Oregon State University graduate students.

Please Note: The Graduate School's tuition support program awards are subject to budget availability and must be requested each year by the student's program per Graduate School guidelines.
