Call for Posters – Sun Grant Festival at OSU150

The Sun Grant Festival component of Oregon State University’s 150-year anniversary celebration will run from April 9 – 20, 2018 ( One of the festival activities is a symposium dealing with alternative fuels and related technologies. The symposium is slated for Monday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The symposium will feature oral presentations from nationally recognized experts in the field along with poster presentations that emphasize past and present work done at OSU.

Symposium organizers are hoping you will participate in this event by presenting one or more posters covering work from your laboratory. Laboratory groups are encouraged to present as many posters as necessary to convey the nature of their work. Posters need not be specific to this celebration; i.e., topic-relevant posters presented at other meetings are welcome.

Posters must be set up in the MU Ballroom prior to 8:30 a.m. on Monday April 16 and taken down sometime between 2:00 and 3:30 that afternoon. A 4 ft. x 4 ft space will be provided for each poster. Posters are to be attached to the supporting material using provided binder clips or blue painters tape (do not use pins.)

Posters should be attended by at least one of its authors from 12:30 to 1:30. A buffet lunch will be provided to registered students/staff attending posters from 12:00-12:30. 

The audience for this symposium is expected to include colleagues, peer scientists, OSU officials, state/federal representatives, and the inquisitive public.
