This program provides graduate tuition scholarships to graduate fellows whose stipends are paid by an eligible unit via approved OSU Foundation funds dedicated to graduate fellowships and which provide a stipend value equivalent to that provided by at least a .49 FTE graduate assistantship as specified by the minimum recommended stipend guidelines established by the Graduate School.
The intent of this program is to maximize the value of institutional graduate fellowships by providing accompanying tuition scholarships.
To be eligible, students must a) be regularly admitted, provisionally admitted, or tentatively admitted graduate students at OSU; b) be enrolled as full-time students, completing a minimum of 12 credits of state-supported instruction each term; and c) be making satisfactory progress toward an advanced degree. OSU Foundation fellowship stipends provided to eligible students must be equivalent to that of at least a .49 FTE graduate assistantship as specified by the minimum recommended stipend guidelines established by the Graduate School for the year of the award period.
To request support, please complete the online Tuition Support Request form. Note: You must be logged into ONID to access this form.
PLEASE NOTE: The 2016-2017 Award year is CLOSED and budgets fully committed. DO NOT OFFER 2016-2017 funding to students without consulting the Graduate School. If you have late requests for tuition support for 2016-2017, please send an email to Grad.Scholarships@oregonstate.edu with student information and a brief explanation of the request.
Tuition scholarships will be based on the graduate student's residency status and will be the value of either resident or nonresident full time graduate student instructional fees. Tuition scholarships may be awarded on a full-year or partial year basis, depending on the duration and distribution of the fellowship stipend.
Tuition scholarships will be posted directly to the fellow's student account at the beginning of each academic term during the award period, pending the fellow's eligibility and 12-credit enrollment for the term.
To be given priority consideration, academic units must submit requests to the Graduate School by February 15 each year. After the priority deadline, requests will be considered on a rolling basis as funds are available.
