Am I eligible to receive undergraduate financial aid for graduate courses taken under AMP?

Yes, graduate courses taken under AMP are eligible for undergraduate financial aid as long as they will also be counted toward the requirements of the bachelor's degree. All standard conditions regarding financial aid as administered by the Financial Aid Department at OSU must be met. Please contact that office with Financial Aid questions.

Am I eligible to receive graduate financial aid for graduate courses taken under AMP?

No. You will be eligible for consideration for graduate financial aid once you have graduated with your OSU bachelor’s degree and start your master’s degree program.

Will graduate courses taken under AMP count toward my OSU undergraduate enrollment status (e.g., full-time, part-time, etc.)?

Yes, up to 22 credits of graduate courses taken under AMP will count toward your OSU enrollment status.

Will graduate courses taken under AMP appear on my undergraduate and graduate transcripts?

Courses will appear on transcripts based upon the level of the course; undergraduate courses will appear on an undergraduate transcript. Graduate courses will appear on a graduate transcript.

Will graduate courses taken under AMP be included in my undergraduate and graduate GPAs?

See above for transcript GPAs. Whether a graduate course will be included in the GPA for the undergraduate degree audit (MyDegrees) will vary by undergraduate major. Speak with your undergraduate advisor about this. Graduate courses taken while in the AMP program will count toward your graduate GPA and program of study GPA if included on the program of study. Your official GPA will be listed separately on each individual transcript (undergraduate courses on the undergraduate transcript and graduate courses listed on the graduate transcript).

Are graduate courses completed while an undergraduate in AMP counted as transfer courses on the master's program of study?

Yes, all courses completed prior to your term of full admission to the graduate degree are transfer courses and must meet all transfer course policies.

Am I eligible to receive a graduate assistantship while taking graduate courses under AMP?

No. You will be eligible for consideration for a graduate assistantship once you have graduated with your OSU bachelor’s degree and start your master’s degree program.

Will I be charged undergraduate or graduate tuition for graduate courses taken under AMP?

Students will be charged undergraduate tuition except for Ecampus courses which are charged by the course level not student level. Undergraduate students enrolled in Ecampus graduate courses pay the graduate tuition and fees rate.

After I am admitted to AMP, how do I register for graduate courses?

Please contact your program's graduate coordinator to get an override. Please include your full name, student ID number, and the graduate course you would like to register for that term.

Do I need to submit/upload a copy of my OSU undergraduate transcript for the AMP application?

No. The program and the Graduate School will have access to your transcript after you have submitted your AMP application.

Will I need any overrides to register for graduate courses under AMP?

Yes, most graduate courses will require at least a “level” override.

Can undergraduates at OSU-Cascades apply for an AMP in Corvallis?

No, AMP is currently not available to OSU-Cascades students for graduate programs in Corvallis.
